Dear Colleagues:
On June 30, 2023, UCPath introduced changes to support the UC Gender Recogntion and Lived Name (GRLN) policy. In preparation for this update, we required all employees with elevated access in UCPath and the UCR Financial Systems to sign a one-time Confidentiality Agreement and take two UC Learning Center courses;
UC Policy on Gender Recognition and Lived Name (expires every 2 years)
Gender Recognition & Lived Name: An introduction to gender awareness (one-time requirement)O
If you have elevated access in one or more of the following systems, but the course UC Policy on Gender Recognition and Lived Name has expired:
UCPath
TARS (Time & Attendance Reporting System)
Salary Cost Transfer
Position Funding
Payroll Certifications
Oracle Financials
Looker Financials
One Time Payment
iReport
ePay
Concur (elevated access includes delegate, approver, pre-approver roles)
You must recertify this course within 30 days to retain your elevated access. Failure to do so by August 24, 2026, will result in your access being revoked, and a new access request will need to be submitted.
More information about the UCR Principals of Community and the GRLN Policy can be found on the UCR Gender Recognition and Lived Name
