What is Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM)? 

TAM is an internationally used delivered PeopleSoft module that will allow UCR to manage an additional component of the employment lifecycle - recruitment - in one system providing users with one platform with which to engage. TAM will replace UCR's current applicant tracking system, iRecruit, and is designed to expedite and standardize the hiring process. TAM allows for creating job posting, managing and screening applicants, as well as approving and delivering job offers within a single application.

When Will TAM Launch?

UCR’s Implementation Date Extended

The implementation date for UCR and other D2 locations has been changed from September 2019 to December 2019. This change was a result of the UCPath Project Management Office (PMO) requesting and receiving approval for a reduced D1 deployment. D1 will now include UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and ANR with UC Irvine moving to D2. The addition of UC Irvine to D2 will require additional time to deploy resulting in this three month extension.


TAM and ePer Current Activities

UCR conducted integration testing of TAM and ePer. The testing team consisted of department supervisors and human resources staff who will work first hand with these systems. Testers developed and executed recruiting and performance appraisal test scenarios and provided important feedback on system functionality and navigation. TAM and ePerformance workgroups (representative of campus departments and organizations) have been established and meet regularly to review system configuration and functionality; provide feedback and focus to guide the implementation; identify stakeholder concerns; and provide guidance on change management and engagement efforts.
