Phase 2 Pre-Training

ONLINE PRE-TRAINING (Phase 2) Web-based, will be held (for Phase I) from September 9-September 19.

  • Access to this training will be 24/7. Online pre-training is expected to be a total of 16 hours.
  • Composed of online, self-paced courses and resources that introduce future initiators to UCPath basics and navigation and transactional processes.
  • After completing each module, participants will be asked to take a 5 question quiz. Participants will need to pass the quiz with a score of at least 80%. All quizzes will be hosted in the LMS.

  • UCPath Help Site Overview

    This course provides an overview of the UCPath Help site. It explains how to access the site, as well as how to navigate and search the site to locate learning and support resources for the UCPath application.

  • UCPath PeopleSoft Overview

    This course provides an overview of PeopleSoft and the modules for users who perform transactions beyond self-service at Locations and UCPath Center.

  • UCPath: Basics and Navigation

     This web-based training course is intended as a prerequisite course for all new users of the UCPath system. It provides an overview of all standard PeopleSoft functionality.

  • UCPath: WFA Overview

    This course provides an overview of the UCPath Workforce Administration (WFA) module and the employee lifecycle in UCPath. This course also introduces processes for the UCPath Template, PayPath and Extended Leaves of Absence transactions.

  • Position Control

    This ecourse provides an overview of the features of the position management module. It explains the relationship between position data and job data. Users are also shown how to view position information, how to initiate a position control request for a new position, initiate a position control request for updates to a vacant position, and access and view existing position control request transactions.
